This week’s homework was really hard. Not gonna lie. I am not very much into landscape photography with two focal points. haha. You can be the judge on how I did. :P
***
1. Take a landscape photo using the rule of thirds with 2 elements in it at 2 different focal points.
Okay, so not EXACTLY on the focal points, and WAY heavily edited, but I think it turned out pretty good, if I do say so myself. :P
2. Take a photo making use of depth of field to pinpoint where you want your focus point to be, and make sure the focus point is following the rule of thirds.
My dad said “that is NOT a flattering picture of poor Aiyanna.” I said, IT IS SO ADORABLE, THOUGH. ;)
3. Take a photo employing unusual angles and a situation where the rule of thirds would not be helpful.
Unusual angles: LOVE. rule of thirds: LOVE. therefore, I hate that this is not on the rule of thirds. hate it. BUT i love the picture and think it looks WAY better centered. oh well. haha ;)
And thus ends my homework for this week. Your thoughts?
yep...that would look totally WRONG following the rule of 3rds.
ReplyDeleteand yes, landscape is TOUGH. REALLY tough with 2 focal points. But you probably learned a ton trying to see it, trying to follow it. Right?
