Homework

My homework in my photography class was to record some of the information on my photos that I’ve taken over the course of the week. I didn’t do my GREAT idea to take a picture at every ISO and shutter speed… but here’s what I did come up with instead. :)

ISO 400

Now, I know that since it was such a bright day that I should have had my ISO lower and my shutter speed MUCH slower, but I didn’t want to miss any of the motion in the horse, so thus I shot at what I did. The photo is too dark, but photoshop Elements can do wonders. ;)

There was barely any light in this room for this picture. I would have been better off to find a more direct light source, but alas. I was too lazy. :P

I took this photo at 7:00 in the evening, and am quite pleased with the finished product. ;)

Yes, I probably should have decreased my shutter speed, but I was too busy to notice. And it turned out pretty awesome in my book. I truly respect veterans (and current military men!) so much.

The end for this post. :)

  1. I love how the leaves on the tree branches frame the cow. :)

  2. agree on the framing of the cow - see the fence in the background...if you got lower on the angle I think you might have been able to get it out of the photo and make the cow look like on a hill....or you'd see the underside of the cow too much. If you ever go back to that location (hint hint...FALL LEAVES with the gorgeous framing) try laying down or crouching down more.
