Randomness about meeeee

SO. My friend posted this on her blog, and I really liked it and yeah. I decided to do it. It’s REALLY long, so bonus points if you read the whole thing. :)

1. High heels or boots? HEELS. They make me taller. And boots, well, ankle boots are the only thing that works for me ‘cause of my silly dancer calves. I’ve yet to find any knee-high or thigh-high boots that fit over my creepy calve muscles. Alas, maybe one day…
2. What time did you get up this morning? Get up? 7. Wake up? 5:45. I hit my snooze button about 15 times before getting up. ;)
3. What was the last movie you saw at the theater? The Help. AMAZING movie. Go see it.
4. What is your maiden name? as since I’ve not been married yet, I assume that it’d be my name as it is now. Burgess. So exciting. :P

5. What is your favorite TV show? So You Think You Can Dance. Oh heavens, LOVE this show. Makes me wish I could dance like themmmmmm…. :(
6. What do you usually have for breakfast? Hot chocolate, an apple, and pancakes. Or a poptart. :P So healthy. Haha.
7. What is your middle name? Taylorrrrr. :)
8. What food do you dislike? Green beans. I. Hate. Green. Beans. And canned corn. Grosssss.
9. What is your favorite CD at the moment? Skillet’s “Comatose.” It’s an oldie, but a goodie.
10. What characteristic do you despise? Extreme talkativeness. I’m guilty of this, and it bugs me to death. Oh heavens. Now don’t get me wrong, you can talk all you want, but be sure to let this girl get a word or two in. pretty please? ;)

11. Favorite clothing? Soffe shorts and a tanktop. Mind you, I’ve never worn this outfit in public, but it is by FAR my favorite clothing.
12. Anywhere in the world on vacation? Avonlea. I want to go to Green Gablessssss. :)
13. Are you an organized person? Most always. Hence why I am typing this in a word document so I can make everything equally spaced BEFORE I put it on my blog poster thingy. It must be PERFECT.
14. Where would you retire to? A small house in a FIELDDDD. By a river. With a pool. Or a lake. A clean lake, mind you. No turtles or snakes allowed where I retire to… >:-{ haha
15. What was your most recent memorable birthday? My 16^th, most definitely. I GOT MY LICENSE. And it was raining, but I got to take the test anyways, cause it stopped raining for my test. :D
16. What are you going to do when you finish this? Wrap a present and make a card for a birthday party that is starting in approximately two hours. Procrastinator, I know. haha
17. Furthest place you have ever been to? El Salvadorrrr.

18. Person you wish you could meet? Uhmmmm… aside from Jesus (the TOTAL churchy answer), I’d like to meet Esther. You know, Queen Esther? My favorite Bible character? The one who is amazing? Yeah. Her.
19. When is your birthday? JANUARY 26^th. So excited. :)
20. Are you a morning person or a night person? Morning. DEFINITELY. If you can get me up, I’m a morning person. It’s the getting up part that I hate. :P
21. What is your shoe size? 8½
22. Do you own any animals? Crazy hyper golden retriever dog. And a bajillion ducks.
23. Any news you'd like to share? I got a full-ride scholarship to Auburn. Where I’m going to college next year. SO SO SO SO SO super excited!! :D
24. When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up? I was a strange child. I wanted to grow up to be a garbage (wo)man. A gas station owner. And a teacher. I’m definitely going to be a teacher, but you’d have to pay me some serious cash to be the other two… (nothing against garbage men or gas station owners, I would be a sad girl without them, but I’m just not that type. Haha)
25. What is your favorite flower? Daisies and/or roses. I love them both. A lot.
 
26. What is a day on the calendar you are looking forward to? Spring. I’m going to NEW YORK CITY. So excited. :D
28. If you were a crayon, what color would you be? Marigold yellow.
29. How is the weather right now? Bright and sunny and the perfect temperature. I LOVE FALL.
30. Last person you spoke to on the phone? Last year’s Driver’s Ed teacher. :) Random, I know.
31. Favorite drink? Waterrrrrrrrrrrr. But I do love me some strawberry kiwi kool-aid. :)
32. Favorite restaurant? Five Guys Burgers and Fries. Best. Place. EVER. haha
33. Hair color? Light brown.
34. What was your favorite toy as a child? Little plastic people. They were kinda like barbies, but fatter and uglier. Haha. and MUCH better to play with. :)
35. Spring, summer, fall, or winter? I used to would say spring, but I like fall weather better. And it’s longer. And cooler.
36. Chocolate or vanilla? VANILLA.
37. Coffee or tea? Neither. Hot chocolate all the way! haha

38. Wish you were still young? Pshh, I am still young! what are you talking about??
39. Do you want to get married? Uhm, YES.
40. When was the last time you cried? Last Saturday night… While watching “Jane Eyre.” GREAT movie. :)
41. What is under your bed? Carpet. And probably crumbs. But since it’s a futon, you can’t fit anything under it. Which is probably not a bad thing.
42. What did you do last night? Worked at a soup kitchen. Ate at chick-fil-a with some friends. Edited pictures. Slept. So exciting.
43. What are you afraid of? Not much, but my biggest fear is falling through a porch or a pier or a bridge. Or breaking my right leg. (i couldn’t drive then, in case you were wondering why my right leg is more important to me than my left leg. haha)
44. Salty or sweet? Salty.

45. Best quality you have? UHM. Really, I’m supposed to answer this??? *runs and asks my mother who is not biased in the least* “You have LOTS of good qualities! You are very friendly and caring.” I guess I’ll take that. haha
46. How many years at your current job? UHM. I don’t currently have a job. Unless you count being a student, and that would be 13 years… counting preschool and kindergarten. :)
47. Favorite day of the week? Fridayyyyyy. Or Tuesdays. Tuesdays are awesome because I don’t have anything weekly scheduled on that day so it’s fun to see what each week brings!!
48. Favorite movie? Harry Potter. Now don’t ask me which one, cause I’ve yet to see them all, but yeah. I love Harry Potter. :D
49. Have you ever had a crush on anyone? Me? A crush? Of course! haha :P
50. Do you like finding out all this stuff about your friends? Yes, of course! I’m usually too lazy to read all of this, but it was super fun to fill out so EVERYONE SHOULD DO IT TOO.

We talked about flash in class last week… I hate flash. with a passion. So I don’t have any good flash pictures. Oh well. :P

Totally adorable… but the only shots I got of Kandie and a leaf was her licking her lips or devouring it. Well, at least they are kind of funny. :P

  I FAILED to take a picture yesterday… this is SO horribly sad. oh well. here’s my sad face to make up for the lack of pictures yesterday. it’s a really creepy picture, but I am too lazy to pull out my camera and take one with my real camera, so you get a really creepy picture of me instead.

I got my senior pictures taken this afternoon (well, a few of them, I’m going back another date to get ballet ones done), and am SO excited about them. But I must admit that it was very strange being on that side of the camera. It was nice, though, to kind of see what my clients feel like when I’m taking their pictures. ;)

week threeeeee, homework

My homework this week was to sharpen and edit a picture that needed it.

I chose this picture from Aiyana’s photoshoot last week. I LOVE the picture, but both Aiyana and her dad are out of focus. :(

 

So, I removed the annoying picture frames and sharpened up the picture. I also brightened it up and did little skin fixes.

I didn’t really like the coloring of the finished product, so TADA. Black and white is my friend. And I LOVE how it turned out. :D
