my sister came home for my birthday, and since my new camera came in, I of COURSE took the full use of this opportunity. ;)

My birthday is in TWO days.
In honor of this momentous day, I bought myself a present. A big present…
This camera.
It is scheduled to arrive at my house ON my birthday… here’s hoping that it does.
You may think I’m wasting money on buying a new camera when the one I have now isn’t completely dead yet, but that is exactly why I wanted to get a new one now. Yes, Zoe still works, but she is wearing out quickly and won’t last for much longer at the rate I’ve been taking pictures with her. But if I get a new camera now, she will be VERY handy to have as a back-up camera, or a beach camera, or a camera to take on mission trips. And plus, I don’t want to kill her and then be stuck with NO back-up camera... :P

It snowed. I LOVE SNOW. the snowflakes weren’t beautiful, but somehow i managed a few decent pictures of them. :)
I’m sick of all these rainy and cloudy days. SUCH a damper on the mood. but alas, at least I have got a few good pictures because of it… which always makes things better!! ;)
I tried again to make beautiful cake balls. 
I kind of failed at getting the proportions right, but oh well. practice makes perfect, right? ;)
